Want to know more about Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0? Make time from 6pm in London on the 29th April 2008. Remember that you can load WSS v3 onto SBS 2003 and it is a part of SBS 2008 (Cougar) and Essential Business Server 2008 (Centro)

I have said many a time that SharePoint will be a key asset for small business partners now and in the future and all the press suggests the exact same thing.  Vijay has arranged, and will be presenting, at an Event in London with Steve Smith, Craig Carpenter and Bill English.  Given the quality of the speakers, I would suggest that you sign up early to say that you will be there:

About David Overton

I have been in the IT industry for over 22 years working across a variety of technologies, business segments and organisation sizes. For the last seven years I have been working at Microsoft, initially delivering solutions for large UK customers in the retail sector, but have now progressed to delivering solutions for smaller businesses. My keen interest in smaller organisations resulted in a dedicated role starting over 4 years ago. Before working for Microsoft, I worked on various Unix platforms while working for major UNIX hardware retailers (which include IBM, Sequent and ICL) delivering mission critical computing using large Unix and Mainframe solutions. I am also a school Governor and recently stepped down as treasurer for a charity (Farnborough & District Samaritans). My passion has always been to help customers and partners towards the goal of improving their business through the use of IT (because I can help with this and I do enjoy helping people). Finally I love sailing, have mangled a finger doing so and still love both dinghy and yacht sailing (none of that power boat stuff for me!).
