I have tried to create another Shared Document Site and using Outlook. I must be missing something. Anything special I should be looking for?

To log in. you should see a "sign in" link on the top right of the page.

On the site question - I am going to go and create a site and go through the steps to document for you

I did join... however this is like my first Blog I have actually posted to so not sure how to login..

Anyways let me tell you what I have and maybe you can help?
I have a webserver with Sharepoint Services Installed I have my team site setup. It works great!! I have a HOSTED exchange server through another company. When in outlook I attach a file and make it a shared attachment and specify the team sites shared documents or just the team site I get an error: Shared attachments are not available for this location. "You may not have permission to access the location, it may not be a trusted site, or it may be unavailable."

I have added the site to my trusted sites in IE. Not sure what else the issue may be. If it is a permission issue then where do I make this adjustment?

1st off, why not join the site ;-). To answer your question, yes. This is what hosted WSS solutions offer. You can even have both in your business - one internal and one external.

Can a Shared workplace be done over the internet? I mean if I have a webserver running Server2003 and WSS. Can I setup Outlook on a totall different domain and still have access to the shared documents section on outlook?
