Mainly because the link was on the Vista desktop which was blue-screening. I got a bit frustrated with it and couldn't really face researching alternatives. Your point's well taken though, and you provide a direct link to the download so I may do something over the weekend. It would be nice if Acer would start talking about Vista and releasing driver updates. OEMs always seem to run scared when there's a new OS on the horizon. In my defence though, I'm enrolled in several other betas and I'm submitting copious amounts of feedback on those, in particular office 2007 because they made it so easy to do and others like SBA (uk version) which has a more formal set of tests to be worked through. Others I'm testing are Monad (windows Power shell), IE7 and Expression Web Designer.
