I keep on hearing that W7 is faster, but from a VPC, it certainly isn&amp;#39;t.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Whilst the taskbar has some nice new features - I can&amp;#39;t see how it constitutes a major new OS. 10 years ago, the number of new improvements was enough for Microsoft to rename its OS from 3.1 to 3.11.&lt;/p&gt;
