new sbs 2003 exchange problem

Hi,

i have just setup a sbs 2003 standard server all went fine.

the problem is that when a client tries to send mail to some domains they just queue up, other mail sends out with no problems.
i have talked to my ISP and my ip isnt blocked.

any suggestions?

Sounds like a DNS issue. Rather than using DNS to send emails, use smarthosts

Also check the DNS settings in AD, DHCP and DNS too as this is maybe the root of your problem

probably is a DNS issue, but get around it by forwarding to a SMARTHOST.  Use the SMTP server as specified by your ISP and let them do the DNS
