  • Re: How to change CRMMail and CRMRouter passwords

Hi David Thanks for picking this up. I've been told that changing the passwords shouldn't break the CRM Exchange Router. I think there may have been a problem before the passwords were changed (client not clear on the state of the system) and re-running the rule deployment wizard in CRM and changing the email address of the CRM Exchange Router

  • How to change CRMMail and CRMRouter passwords

I posted this question in the MS CRM forums, but no feedback yet: "Got a small issue with a CRM 3.0 SBE install on SBS2K3 PE that I cant find documented, During a recent security audit, I changed the passwords for CRMMail and CRMRouter users (via ADUC) to new, complex ones. Since I changed the passwords, any replies from customers, to emails sent from

  • Re: SBS & ISA - they can do wonderful things for you

Thanks David. That gives me plenty to go on - I will have a dig and check those things out. On the robots.txt - I dont have one at the moment. I had a look at: http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/6/1/561c9fd7-0e27-4525-94ec-4d2d38f61aa3/TSHT_SBS.htm This seems to indicate that the robots.txt file is only required to protect your RWW site from being

  • Re: SBS & ISA - they can do wonderful things for you

Hi David, Have a pretty basic question (I think) about ISA reports. SBS 2K3 SP1 with ISA 2K4 SP2. Have just started running the standard daily ISA reports. Noticed that several external IP addresses are contained in the 'Top Users' list towards the start of the report. Ran a WHOIS on them, and the top one was registered as Yahoo. The others seemed to

  • Re: Document redirection - turn off for a single user

Thanks David, That worked well. If I log on with a user who is in the 'no my docs redirect' OU I still get a Sync box appear at log off, but their My Docs are *not* synchorised. Logging on/off with a user in the SBSUsers OU results in a sync of that users My Docs folder to the server. I set up as orig posted, before your amendments - to remove the GPO

  • Re: Document redirection - turn off for a single user

It appears to be a global setting, or at least that's how it seems to work on our SBS network. With My Docs redirection activated on the SBS, if I then select a single user and choose to *not* redirect My Docs, it appears to switch of My docs redirection for *all* users. Thanks, James

  • Re: Document redirection - turn off for a single user

Thanks David, That's great, I'll use that. Yes, you understood correctly - just turn off for one user, no matter where he logs in. I did look at this (selected the one user, then chose Configure My Documents Redirection as you've suggested here) but was put off by the wording "...for all users..." and "Redirect all My Documents folder to the default
