Webcams on remote access

Hi

I have a couple of IP webcams which I have successfully connected up and display in sharepoint.  However if I connect via RWW then then it tries to load from the camera IP address, but this is now an internet rather than local address.  Is there any way to force the connection to the cameras? (or do I use socket forwarding on the router??)

Thanks

Richard,

if the cameras have IP addresses on the local subnet then the only choices you have are:

  1. Port forwarding - so port 12345 on your firewall goes to port 80 at local IP address 192.168.16.x
  2. Connect in via RWW and view the webcams via the remote desktop feature

thanks
