Hi All

Hope you can help me with a couple of SBS 2003 queries I have.

Background: For a client, I installed SBS 2003 Premium server at the beginning of this year, twin 2.8ghz cpu, 2Gb Ram, H/W Raid, 2 x NIC, on a broadband connection through a netgear ADSL router. Hosts their email but not website. Four remote sites use Remote Access/VPN to connect in for email and shared files.

1) The main problem I have is with the vpn clients sometimes not seeing the mapped network drive, or it mapped but empty. In the SBS_Login_script.bat I have the line :

net use s: "\\server\file store" /persistent:yes

in addition to the client setup.exe line. Have tried adding a net use * /delete  at the top but no change. Also tried without persistent switch.

At the moment only way to fix seems to be doing a manual synchronise, log off then log back on.

2) Started getting emails that lsass.exe is allocating more memory than usual. What is this? Checked and is only using about 88Mb memory.

3) Get a strange configuration alert in IAS :
Description: ISA Server detected routes through adapter Server Local Area Connection that do not correlate with the network element to which this adapter belongs. For best practice, the address range of an ISA Server network should match the address ranges routable through the associated network adapter as defined in the routing table. Otherwise valid packets may be dropped as spoofed. (This alert may occur momentarily when you create a remote site network. You may safely ignore this message if it does not reoccur.)  The address ranges in conflict are: 192.168.0.0-192.168.0.0;.

Server Local Area Connection is the name given to the NIC for the internal network, and uses the 192.168.0.x IP addresses. The external NIC uses 10.0.0.x

4) Veritas backup won't allow me to select the Exchange mailboxes, complains that I don't have permissions even though I give it the Administrator account details. (Maybe not one for this forum but worth a try)

Huge thanks in advance if anyone can point me in a direction to fix these.
