Hi guys,

I have a client who has user "terry" picking up info@compnayname.co.uk but now wants user "bob" to pick this address.

I have looked in "terry's" exchange settings and there in no "info" SMTP address in there.

I asssume it's been setup in AD somewhere but I can't find it.

The server only picks up a single pop3 account so I know there is no separate "info" pop3.

Where else can this have been setup?

Thanks in advance.

If you go into active directory users and computers and then…

right click on companyname.local (or whatever it happens to be!)

click “all tasks”

click “find”

In the “find:” drop down menu select “custom search”

Click advanced

In the “LDAP Query” Textbox copy and paste the following:

(&(mail=*)(proxyAddresses=smtp:[email protected]))

And the click on find now.  It should bring up the object that contains the email address you are looking for.

Hope that helps.

EXCELLENT!!!
Very impressed by the friendly support found on this site.
All found and amended in less than 5 seconds.

Any other gems like that?

Cheers
