  • Re: Is this possible, or am I missing the point of SPS

Hi David Thanks for your reply. Are you sayin gjust to use the sharepoint side of things to manage my files as opposed to having two seperate systems? If so, I assume this would stop twice as many files beingstored as when I copied the files in to sharepoint it seemed to make another copy. Thanks Craig

  • Re: Sharepoint access via internet

Hi Nik I am not a sharepoint expert, however from what you are saying it sounds like a permissions problem. Without knowing the in's n out's of your network, I would assume that all the internet users acessing the sharepoint site have permission to access the site but not the required security privilages in AD! Are you talking about annoymous

Hi David, Is there a way for an uploaded file/folder to automatically update when a new file is added to the main folder on the server? Craig

  • Re: BCM 2007 - shared across multiple offices?

Hi Mark You are correct in as much as you cant have more than one SBS on the same domain. With a second site, why not consider using terminal services with a new server running S2003? This should be a lot quicker than trying to synchronise across a DSL connection. HTH CP

  • Re: Reports & BCM 2007

Hi Malachy Unfortunately cant help with your issue. I was hoping to pick your brains on what you think of BCM! I use ACT! but find it offers way more than I nned thus creating more work and over complicting simple things. Have you used any other CRM's to compare to? TIA CP

  • Re: Multiple Email domain question

I too had this set up. Found it a bit cumbersome some times but probably more to do with me that than how it works. It was good doing it this way to anable signatures to be applied to which ever 'account' you used to send your mail by. If you have an SBS yourself, try it out on that first as it can be fiddley. I used a 'how to' found
