Online postage will cost the same as traditional stamps

People are now able to buy their postage online, without any stamps, for the first time under a new free initiative from the Royal Mail.

Great idea, but sucks. If you read it closer you can only use the 'stamp' within a short period - a day.

I would much prefer the ability to bulk buy and then use them when I want, rather than having to...

Open the internet, go to the PO website, log on, enter CC details, download whatever, turn on the printer, swap to labels, print, get a paper jam, sort it out, etc etc.

Or,

Open draw, open book of stamps, peel, stick to envelope, turn off office lights, go home.

Terry (who need to work out if theres a vacumn packed envelope for those times when its thicker than 5mm)
